Peter Jeffery

Founder - AIM

Peter has an in-depth knowledge of the publishing and media representation business.  Having resided in Hong Kong since 1985, he has a wealth of experience and high-level connections with major brands and advertising agencies in Asia and beyond. Formerly publisher at Far East Trade Press Ltd. (a subsidiary of Times Publishing Singapore) and from 1996, publisher of Reader’s Digest Asia, Peter founded AIM in 2002.

Cordelia Chan

Consulting Director - AIM

Cordelia has vast experience with a wide variety of business-to-business and business-to-consumer media. She has worked in the publishing industry since 1986 with publications including TIME Magazine, Forbes China, Yazhou Zhoukan (Chinese Asia Week), and Reed’s Hotel & Travel Index. Before co-founding AIM in 2002, she was the associate publisher of three trade publications of Reed Elsevier Asia, managing its worldwide representation network.

Brendan Inns


Brendan is an experienced marketer with a solid background and strong track record in brand management and integrated marketing communications. Formerly group vice president of brand communications for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts he also held several senior sales and marketing positions with Hyatt International and has over 20 years of experience in Asia having lived and worked in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Australia. Brendan is the founder of BRANDVEST Consulting and joined AIM in 2014.

Tim Waldron

Chief Executive - AIM

Tim has worked in media for 30 years, having joined Haymarket Media as a classified sales executive in 1989. He was Haymarket’s first full time employee in Singapore in 2000 where he moved to launch CEI Asia Pacific and establish Haymarket’s presence in Southeast Asia. He relocated to Hong Kong in 2001 to take responsibility for Asia, and was instrumental in managing Haymarket’s acquisitions, joint venture partnerships and building the business in the region. In Asia Haymarket published market leading brands - Asian Investor, Campaign, CEI Asia Pacific, Corporate Treasurer, Finance Asia, FourFourTwo and Stuff. He made a significant contribution to Haymarket's growth managing the transition from being a traditional magazine publisher to a truly multi platform media company. This transition is reflected in the diversification of revenue streams in the region. Tim launched the SPIKES ASIA Festival, a joint venture with Ascential PLC, owners of Cannes Lions, establishing Haymarket’s position as a market leading events business, specifically in the marcoms and finance sectors.

Micheal Yates

Executive Director - AIM

Mike has spent more than 20 years creating successful strategies and solutions for companies and governments in the Asia Pacific region specializing in the travel technology, distribution and tourism services sectors. A former news journalist and advertising agency executive, Mike has held senior management roles with Travelport, the Pacific Asia Travel Association and Tourism Australia and managed his own consultancy business, working with global brands, such as Disney, Visa and CNN, and regional blocs such as ASEAN. He brings deep industry knowledge and an extensive regional network to Travel Elite.  

Vincenzo Viola

Non-Executive Director - AIM

Vince has over 30 years’ experience as a global advertising and marketing executive. He moved back to Australia in 2014 following 15 years as Managing Director McCann Hong Kong, where he managed the Cathay Pacific Central Team. This dedicated agency was created as a full service, multi-disciplinary agency to manage all integrated marketing for Cathay Pacific Airways across 27 markets. Prior to Hong Kong, Vince held roles at Ogilvy & Mather, New York as Senior Partner and D’Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles, New York as Senior Vice President, Director Business Development, responsible for the New York office’s business development program and managing a portfolio of Procter & Gamble brands for the US market. Vince is based in Melbourne, Australia where he holds the position of CEO, Belgrave Collective. A next generation brand experience company creating maximum impact with minimal footprint.

Graham Cheung

Business Director - AIM

Graham has a wealth of knowledge and experience with commercial analysis and business development having worked with US and European multinationals in London, New Delhi and Hong Kong. Having spent 15 years in the publishing industry with The Economist Group, the South China Morning Post and Bauer Media, Graham joined AIM in 2015. With his previous financial achievements working with sales, marketing and distribution teams in the media industry, Graham brings a welcome addition to the AIM professional team.

Loesa Lee

Director of Finance & Administration - AIM

Loesa is a highly skilled administrator providing corporate functions, systems, financial reports and analysis. Prior to joining AIM in 2008 as director of finance and administration, she worked for 10 years in a Hong Kong listed company for 10 years, first as senior accounting manager and in the last 4 years, as general manager. Loesa was educated in Canada where she worked for 5 years before returning to Hong Kong.

Tony Chow

Associate Publisher - PERSPECTIVE Magazine

Tony began his media career with Global Sources in 1985 in Hong Kong. Following a long tenure with the group that saw him relocate to Taiwan and then Shenzhen to set up exhibition sales teams, he joined LexisNexis in Hong Kong and then returned to China with Thomson Reuters, Shanghai. Tony has a wealth of experience in media and event sales, print and digital advertising platforms, online database business models, as well as event management. Immediately prior to joining PERSPECTIVE in 2015, Tony was in Beijing with Nanjing Starlight Avenue Culture Media where he managed the sales teams of different magazine titles.

Teresa Ngai

Advertising Director - AIM

Teresa is a customer focused sales professional with well-rounded experience in publishing from research to sales in various capacities with business-to-business and business-to-consumer publishers including Yazhou Zhoukan (Chinese Asia Week) and Reed Elsevier. She began her career with TIME Inc. in 1992 and joined AIM in 2004.

Amy Lok

Advertising Director - AIM

Amy is a successful sales professional with a genuine interest in helping customers address real needs. Her sales experience covers print and digital media as well as sales team management and gained extensive knowledge in China and Taiwan while working at a senior level with Global Sources. Amy has been in the media industry since 1991 and joined the AIM team in 2006.

Soh Liang Liang

Director of Advertising, SEA - AIM

Liang Liang is a highly trusted sales professional based in Singapore and previously worked at Mediacorp Pte. Ltd. and Reader’s Digest Asia. Liang Liang’s experience spans over 10 years in China and Singapore, working for the government and public-listed property developers, leading their sales and marketing teams. She has been in the media industry since 1993 and joined AIM in 2005.

Joseph Yap

Director of Advertising, SEA - AIM

Joseph is a focused and goal oriented sales leader with a passion for achieving results. He began his career in advertising sales in 1987 with Singapore’s Times Publishing, working on various trade media and directories, then moved on to international media representation in 1992. He co-founded International Media Sales Asia in 1997 and has led the company until 2009 when he joined and integrated his media operation with AIM in Singapore.

Vincent Lim

Director of Advertising, SEA - AIM

Vincent has been in the media field since 1994 during which time he has accumulated a wealth of experience across different capacities in the publishing industry. He worked with international media including Newsweek and Forbes, and, more recently as advertising sales at TTG Asia and Business Traveller where he looked after the Singapore as well as the China operations for both print and digital media. He joined AIM in 2015.

Dominic Chan

Senior Advertising Manager - AIM

Dominic is an experienced digital marketer with strong ability to grasp new ideas, concepts and technologies. His most recent two positions before joining AIM in 2012 were with Fimmick and Hutchison-Priceline where he was business manager. He was awarded two Digital Campaign Awards at the Hong Kong ICT Annual Awards. Dominic’s knowledge and expertise in digital advertising, social media marketing, personalized and integrated marketing solutions are valuable assets to AIM.

Edward Lee

Senior Advertising Manager - AIM

Edward is responsible for both print and digital advertising sales across local and global platforms in Hong Kong and Macau, especially government and hospitality industry campaigns. Before joining AIM in 2014, he worked in the UK, Japan and the Cayman Islands where he gained valuable experience working in various industries. Edward was raised and studied in the UK.

Icy Cheung

Advertising Manager - AIM

Icy is a results-oriented and self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record in the media field. With her in-depth market knowledge, she is dedicated to providing her clients with the best marketing solutions to address their needs. Before joining AIM Hong Kong in 2017, she worked at POAD for three years, where she gained valuable experience in serving some of the most luxurious brands in Skincare and Cosmetic, Fashion and Watches industry.

Colin Shum

Advertising Manager - AIM

A tech veteran at heart, Colin strives to bring the newest technologies and innovative ideas to advertisers and business users. Prior to joining AIM, Colin worked for a wide variety MNCs as Motorola Canada, Sanyo Japan, and Microsoft Hong Kong; serving as an evangelist for their technologies, and as a consultant to bring business concepts to reality for commercial adaptations.   Currently at AIM, Colin is responsible for advertising sales across the PERSPECTIVE platforms.

Katharine Chan

Client Services Director - AIM

Katharine is a marketing veteran skilled in customized surveys, custom publishing, digital media, as well as event and competition organizing. Her experience in regional and international media dates back to 1993 when she joined TIME Inc. Katharine then worked at Yazhou Zhoukan (Chinese Asia Week) and was Reader’s Digest Asia for 8 years before joining AIM in 2009.

Rosa Chow

Research & Marketing Director - AIM

Rosa is an experienced professional in the publishing industry with skills focused on research and marketing. She joined AIM in 2014 after spending more than 15 years at TIME Inc. in the capacity of marketing / research manager, prior to which she was with Far Eastern Economic Review. Her expertise brings to AIM a new dimension of services on research and marketing for our advertisers and media partners.
